I jokingly describe myself as a ‘translator for spirit’, and it’s more literal than it sounds. Before this, I worked as a language translator for 15 years. Turns out the universe has a sense of humour about career pivots!

How a Spiritual Reading Works

Before your session:

After you book, you’ll receive an order confirmation with links to book your spiritual reading and fill out a short consent form. You’ll be invited to set an intention and bring your most pressing questions. (Yes, you can bring more than one. No, “will I ever find parking in this city?” does not count; though, at this point, I wouldn’t put it past Spirit to weigh in.) Career, relationships, life direction, spiritual path, or anything else weighing on you is all fair game. The more you show up, the more this experience can offer you.

During your session:

We meet on Zoom (or another platform of your choice). I open your Akashic Records using a sacred process, entering a focused and elevated state of consciousness. From here, I receive and relay information, insight, and healing specific to you and your questions. Above all, a spiritual reading is conversational. Feel free to ask follow-up questions, go deeper on anything that comes up, and engage fully. Energy healing flows throughout, and we may be called to take specific actions as needed.

After your session:

You’ll have clear, practical takeaways and guidance you can begin applying immediately. Many clients notice energetic and emotional shifts in the hours and days following a session as the healing continues to integrate. It’s also not uncommon for clients to experience shifts even before the session begins. My spiritual readings are recorded so you can return to the guidance again and again.

I’ve never had a spiritual reading before. How do I know if it’s right for me?

If you’re feeling stuck, depleted, unclear, or like conventional approaches haven’t quite reached the root of what you’re dealing with, an intuitive reading may be what you need. No prior experience with spiritual work is required. Many of my most powerful sessions are with people who come in curious but skeptical. All that’s needed is an open mind and a desire for change!

What kinds of questions can I ask in an intuitive reading?

Almost anything that matters to you. Common areas include:

• Recurring emotional patterns or relationship dynamics
• Career direction, life purpose, or a major decision
• Grief, loss, or major life transitions
• Health challenges or chronic symptoms with no clear cause
• Spiritual development and understanding your gifts
• Why a particular situation keeps repeating no matter what you try

The more honest and specific your questions, the more your Records can offer you.

Do I need to prepare anything before my intuitive reading?

When you book, you’ll receive a link to the consent form, which provides specific advice for preparing for your spiritual reading(such as wearing comfy clothes, abstaining from recreational drugs and alcohol, etc.). Other than that, come with at least a few questions written down, which helps you stay present during the session rather than trying to remember what you wanted to ask. Beyond that, simply set an intention to be open and honest. The more fully you show up, the more the reading can offer you. No special knowledge, background, religious or spiritual practice is required.

How will I feel after my spiritual reading?

Most people feel a significant sense of relief, clarity, and lightness after a session, even if the content was deep or challenging. Because energy healing is integrated throughout, many clients notice a physical shift too: less tension, better sleep, improved mood in the days that follow. The integration continues after the session ends. This is why I prefer to record sessions so you revisit the guidance as the shifts continue to unfold.

You may prefer not to schedule your spiritual reading in the days before travel or a major presentation. I always recommend drinking more water than usual to help your physical body adjust. I also recommend being gentle with yourself for the rest of the day. Maybe skip the family dinner if your mother-in-law is asking when you’re having children.

What if information comes through that is difficult to hear?

Spiritual and intuitive readings sometimes surface things that are confronting. Could be a pattern you’ve been avoiding, a truth you’ve sensed but not faced, an aspect of your health or life that needs real attention. I hold this space with care and compassion. Nothing that comes through is intended to frighten or destabilize you. And I would argue that it only comes through because you are ready for it at the deepest level. Clarity, even when it challenges us, is always in service of your healing and growth.

Fair warning: clients have frequently reported that Spirit is often both more specific and more candid than they expected. It apparently didn’t get the memo about being a people-pleaser! 😛

Is one spiritual reading enough, or will I need multiple spiritual readings?

That depends on you and your needs. Many clients receive significant, lasting value from a single spiritual reading. Others choose to return at key moments of transition or growth. There is no pressure or expectation to book ongoing sessions; the guidance you receive is designed to be complete and actionable in itself. That said, as your life evolves, new layers naturally arise, and many clients find they like to return periodically to support their continued growth. I also offer a 3-month 1:1 spiritual coaching & mentorship program for those who are ready to go all in on their healing, growth, and spiritual development with consistent, deep-level support over time.

Is an intuitive reading the same as a psychic reading?

No. A psychic reading typically focuses on predicting future events. A spiritual reading, particularly one rooted in the Akashic Records, focuses on why things are the way they are and what you can do about it. The focus is on root causes, soul-level patterns, energetic blocks, and practical guidance for moving forward from a higher perspective.

Do I need to have specific religious or spiritual beliefs to benefit from a reading?

Not at all. My clients come from every background imaginable: Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, agnostic, atheist, and everywhere in between. Many Hindu clients feel a natural resonance with this work, given the Akashic Records’ deep roots in Indian tradition and Sanskrit philosophy. The word Akasha originates from Sanskrit and refers to the primary substance from which all of existence is born.

A spiritual reading does not require any particular religious or spiritual beliefs, backgrounds or practices. Whatever your faith or worldview, the Akashic Records simply hold the truth of your soul, and that truth is always in alignment with your highest good. Many deeply religious clients find that this work strengthens rather than conflicts with their existing faith. Christians often recognize it simply as accessing the wisdom and knowledge that God or the Divine has always held about who you are and why you’re here. Others experience it through the lens of their own tradition entirely, and that’s exactly as it should be.

How is this different from traditional therapy or coaching?

Therapy and coaching are valuable, and often complementary to this work. The key difference is the level at which we’re working. Therapy typically works with the mind and emotional history. Coaching works with goals and behaviour. My spiritual or intuitive readings focus on the soul level, so we may access root causes that often predate this lifetime entirely. We have the ability to address the energetic patterns underneath the thoughts, emotions, and behaviours that other modalities are working to shift. Many clients find that one spiritual reading moves something that years of other work hadn’t reached.

I’m skeptical. Can a spiritual reading still benefit me?

Yes. Healthy skepticism often means you’re someone who needs the guidance to be specific and grounded, not vague and theatrical. That’s how I work.
