Lean, Mean Peaches & Green Smoothie

Easy Green Smoothie (Lean, mean, peaches & green!)

This easy green smoothie uses peaches to sweeten and spinach for a mild flavour. Feel free to use other greens as you like. The hemp gives a boost of plant-based protein, but you can swap any protein you like. Vanilla protein powder would be nice in this.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 1 cup packed fresh spinach
  • 1 cup frozen peaches* You can also make this with fresh peaches. If so, reduce to ½ cup of fruit and add ½ cup ice cubes.
  • ¼ cup hemp seeds
  • 1 small ripe avocado peeled
  • ½ small orange if you’re even more of a green smoothie fan, you can leave this out

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients in a high-powdered water.

  2. Add more water if you prefer a thinner smoothie.
  3. Serve with a slice of peach or extra hemp seeds if you're hardcore like that!
