Late Summer Peach & Almond Porridge (gluten-free, dairy-free, paleo, vegan)


  • 1/2 cup almonds + 2 cups water preferably raw, organic & soaked
  • 2 Tbsp almond butter
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 peach sliced


  1. Make a batch of homemade almond milk using the almonds and water. Be sure to strain the almond milk from the nut pulp. If this is your first time making homemade almond milk, I provide a great tutorial here. Set the almond milk aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup nut pulp with the nut butter, cinnamon and maple syrup together.
  3. Spoon the porridge into a serving dish. Pour 1/2 to 3/4 cup almond milk around the porridge so it forms an island. Top the "island" with the fresh peaches and enjoy!
